Cheers mate!

I’m Tom Drake, pro bartender, bar manager, avid traveller and creator of Crafty Bartending.

I was lucking enough to stumble my way into bartending in my final year of school. Back then, I didn’t know what I was doing with my life.

But I do know this, the 6 years that I spent traveling the world and working as a professional bartender, were some of the most enjoyable & transformative years of my life.

Looking back on it, I’ve done some pretty crazy things – cliff jumping in the South of France, partying in Ibizia, snowboarding in the alps, and getting into the ring for a pro Muay Thai fight in Thailand…

None of it would have been possible if I didn’t take the plunge all those years ago and become a professional bartender.

I hope the lessons I’ve learned and the advice I have can help you live your life to the fullest  as a bartender as well.
